Mon commerce en ligne (MCEL), an initiative of the Quebec Technology Association in partnership with École des entrepreneurs du Québec, is a support program aimed at helping Québec retailers achieve their digital transformation.
Whether retailers are just starting out on the web or have a well-established transactional site, the MCEL platform can meet their needs with personalized diagnostics, support from experts, training tailored to their digital experience and more.
Our project consisted in creating an ad campaign inviting Québec retailers to make the shift to digital with Mon commerce en ligne. The objective was to help boost Québec retailers’ online sales by developing their digital skills and implementing effective technological tools.
For the first year of this campaign, we focused on a strong and well-known icon: the empty shopping cart. When inappropriately positioned, its impact becomes very clear to Québec retailers who haven’t yet put much thought into their digital transformation journey. The online shopping carts of many potential customers will remain empty if they don’t take action quickly.
The campaign was launched on linear TV, on YouTube, in newspapers, on social media (Facebook and Instagram) and on Google and Bing search engines.
