First ad campaign for Regroupement du livre québécois

We’re pleased to announce the beginning of a business relationship with Regroupement du livre québécois, which is supported by eight organizations and enterprises in the book sector. Our mandate is to develop a first multi-channel ad campaign to boost the physical and online sales of Québec books right before the Holidays.

“We were won over by Macadam’s initial proposal, putting forward an approach based on solidarity with almost 100% Québec media placement,” said Katherine Fafard, Managing Director at Association des librairies du Québec.

“This first campaign for the Regroupement is very timely in terms of reaching all Quebecers – from avid readers to those who read one book a year,” said Benoît Beauchemin, Partner at Macadam.

The Regroupement comprises the Association des distributeurs exclusifs de livres en langue française (ADELF), Association des libraires du Québec (ALQ), Association nationale des éditeurs de livres (ANEL), Association québécoise des salons du livre du Québec (AQSL), Coopérative des Librairies indépendantes du Québec (LIQ – Les libraires), Fédération québécoise des coopératives en milieu scolaire (COOPSCO), Union des écrivaines et des écrivains québécois (UNEQ) and Groupe Renault Bray/Archambault.
